Kim Kardashian West celebrated her 37 birthday this week, and she posted a picture of her breathtaking view overlooking Canyon Point Utah.
“Most relaxing bday trip!” she wrote on Instagram, hashtagging “Amangiri.”

Amangiri is the name of the ultra-exclusive resort she was staying.
The 5-star resort sits on the southern border of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument in Utah and is also a reasonably short drive from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon and Monument Valley.
Amangiri says that each suite has an outdoor lounge and fireplace with expansive desert views and some suites feature a private pool or roof terrace.

A quick look online shows that suites at Amangiri start at $1800 a night and go as high as 8,750 a night.
Kardashian is not the first celebrity to vacation at the resort. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reportedly visited in 2016.

Our largest National Monument
President Bill Clinton designated the area as a national monument in 1996 using his authority under the Antiquities Act. Grand Staircase-Escalante encompasses the largest land area of all U.S. National Monuments.
Grand Staircase Escalante made political headlines a few months ago when it reportedly ended up on Trump administration list be considered for boundary reduction.
The monument is divided into three sections and is managed by the Bureau of Land Management.
At 1.9 million acres, the Monument is slightly larger in area than the state of Delaware.
